Background & Education:
Al Quillian was born on January 31, 1958, in Athens, Georgia. He was raised in Winder, Georgia, and attended Georgia Southern College in Statesboro, Georgia. Mr. Quillian graduated from Georgia Southern in 1980 with a B.B.A. degree in Finance. Mr. Quillian received his law degree from UGA in June 1983.
Professional Experience:
Upon graduation from the University of Georgia Law School in 1983, Mr. Quillian began a judicial clerkship at the Georgia Court of Appeals as a Law Assistant to the Honorable Arnold Shulman. Mr. Quillian joined the predecessor firm to Scrudder, Bass, Quillian, Horlock, Taylor & Lazarus LLP in 1984. Mr. Quillian is now a partner.
His practice primarily involves the representation of employers in workers compensation matters before the State Board of Workers Compensation, the Superior Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Georgia Supreme Court.
