Background & Education:
Teddy Sutherland is a native of Calhoun, Georgia. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Georgia summa cum laude with a degree in journalism and a minor in history. While an undergraduate, he worked as a disc jockey and play-by-play announcer for local high school football and basketball games and hosted a sports talk radio show. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he attended the University of Georgia School of Law where he was a recipient of the Pratt scholarship and from which he graduated cum laude in 2002.
Professional Experience:
Mr. Sutherland began working at the predecessor firm to Scrudder, Bass, Quillian, Taylor & Lazarus LLP in the fall of 2002. Mr. Sutherland specializes in civil tort litigation and represents individuals, businesses, and insurance companies in state and federal court. His practice includes an emphasis on insurance coverage issues and trucking litigation.
